KayLynn's Dad This camera is a good deal. It's easy to operate for children. I would recommend this to a friend or family member.

hvctx We got this for my daughter for her 3rd birthday, and she loves it. We have had it for 3 months, and we haven't had to change the batteries at all. The only thing that we weren't that impressed with is the photo quality. You have to hold the camera very still to get a clear shot. Even then, they are still smaller pics. Anyhow, she uses it all the time, and loves it. Now, she doesn't bug us to use our camera all the time. We haven't had any problems with it, and I know that Fisher Price will back up their product, if we ever do.

Jays mom We purchased this camera for our daughter's 6th birthday. I think we expected too much from it. She really liked it for the first day and took pictures of everything-including pictures! But she has rarely used it since. It is super easy to use and is great for the really little ones, but don't expect to get good pictures. For the best picture you have to stand 4-4.5 feet from something (good luck getting a kid to do that!) and even then the pictures are pretty bad-even viewed on computer. I'm not really sure it's worth the money. You'll definately need to lower your expectations. I would not recommend it or anyone over 4.

MIchael the Art Dad I have had this camera for about 2 years now, and we bought it for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas as this was the only thing she had wanted for the holiday gift giving occasion. I had the same initial reaction as a lot of people, the image quality is poor, drains batteries, etc. but this is all not true. The camera does not do great in low light, and the flash (as in any camera) will strain batteries, but, if you treat the camera as a real camera (get good batteries) all the battery problems are non existant and you find that a good set of batteries will last you a minimum of a year (and counting). After two years of having this camera, my daughter still takes it with her to various places for photo shoots, and I absolutely LOVE the pictures it has taken. I even made her a small abstract photo book of some of my favorite shots. Not only do I have a special packed folder on my computer just for her photos, but she loves to look at the photos that she has taken, and I love hearing her tell me what some of the less distinguishable pics are. The camera is a toy, it will not ever be a replacement for my Canon Rebel, but it will forever be a part of some of fine art shots as this camera does take some interesting photos in low light. In bright light it takes O.K. pics. This camera is great, and for her fourth b-day, we are considering an upgrade to a 9MP camera+ and know that even though it will be a better camera, it will never completely replace her first camera. The only problem I have with the camera really, is that after it being handled this much and being dropped as many times (which it was made for), some of the rubber grips are coming unglued by the shutter button. I also wish they offered the simple point and shoot with a higher megapixal, as I believe this one is less than 1mp. There is also the problem of the memory card, I had to replace it within a month of my daughter playing with it, but as they are cheap (recomend a kingston 2gb [...]. for under $10 and it will last a lifetime). The reason I gave it a 4star rating is because of this, and my daughter was unable to use the camera without a memory card. In comparison to the other cameras out there for toddlers, this by far is the only one that makes sense, one touch shooting, easy to navigate and discard photos (which this is actually a problem as my daughter does like to take them, but also delete them before I can get them onto my computer), and a simple menu. She loves it, and I think it will last for years to come.

al My 3 year old loves taking pictures with our old camera, but obviously not kids proof. So her Aunt bought her this one for her birthday. She takes great pictures and this camera does not show the pictures very well. Everything is very pixalated.

On the other hand put 19 month old son loves the camera too. Everything is very easy to use and so far, knock on wood, we have not had any problems.

busy mom I almost did not buy this product because of some of the reviews. I am glad that I did not listen and bought the camera. I bought 3 of them- one for each of my 2 1/2 year triplets. They love them. The camera does not come with a flash so when you take pictures indoors the pictures are a little dark but that is to be expected. My kids can take clear pictures with the camera unlike some of the other people say. The camera is very easy to use. The only thing that I would change about the camera is the battery. It takes 4 AAA and I would make it take 4 AA so the batteries would last longer. That is something I can deal with since we use rechargable batteris. One more thing about the batteries is it will take about 200 pictures on a single battery charge.

Cathy My daughter LOVED this thing. The image on the screen wasn't pristine, but not much worse than a cell phone. I was willing to feed it all of the batteries it wanted since she was having so much fun taking pictures with her very own camera!

Until it stopped working.

It froze up and wouldn't allow her to take any more photos. We were very diligent about deleting photos to keep the memory available for more. At one point you could at least scroll through them, but now the screen is blank. It still chirps like it wants to turn on, but nothing after that.

I was very disappointed since we have always been pleased with Fisher-Price items, and figured we just got a lemon. Either there was a whole batch of the bad ones or it is a poor design. The worst part is how sad she is that it won't take pictures anymore. I was looking to buy her a new one for Christmas, but after reading the reviews and seeing that others have had the same problems, I will find her something else.

Mom of 2 little ones I bought this for my daugter last Christmas and it didn't work by March. I didn't expect the camera to match our digital by any means but the screen is very small and even my daughter had a hard time seeing the picture. By March the screen no longer worked and it wouldn't take any pictures. I did have the warrenty on it but because I didn't call it in within a certain amount of days after purchasing the product which was way before Christmas I couldn't do anything about it. My two nephews both got one as well and they also had problems and quite playing with them. NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR YOUR CHILDS DISSAPOINTMENT!
