Londonglamma My 5 yr old grand daughter loves it
Jodiann the experienced shopper This is the cutest sing a long product I have ever seen and it works great. Our daughter loves singing with her favorite songs and since she is a big Hello Kitty fan we are all very happy with our purchase.I should mention that we almost didn't buy this because of the review from Jen from Seattle, [...] the unit had recently been upgraded in quality and that we could know that by looking for the A at the end of the model number. So if you want to buy this, make sure you only pick up boxes that say KT2003A. If no A then you will most likely be disappointed. However, in the store we went to they only had A versions, so I guess they took away all the bad ones.
Jen We're returning this for the third and FINAL time. The CD player works for only a few minutes if at all. We thought it was just a defective unit. Nope, same results for all three we've tried. Turns out just about everyone else who's reviewed this product elsewhere has had the same experience. Save your time, avoid this one. I can't believe TRU is still selling it.

very unhappy mom this karaoke player was suppose 2 be the "big gift" n its that alrite...the biggest piece a %!%! i ever wasted my $ on!!!!!!!!!!1)ive always gotten an ac adaptor included w the player.2)the lid just fell down n snapped the microphone holders right in half.3)so we go get 6 batteries at a convienent store (cuz thats all thats open on xmas eve)$15. for batteries put em n n the stupid thing still didnt work.
Grandma Rosie I purchased this for my granddaughter for her 3rd birthday. She was so excited! It worked for about 5 minutes, then would not "read" the CD. I took it back and exchanged it for another one. Guess what--it worked for about 5 minutes--same as the first one. I decided to send an email to the manufacturer, but got no response. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone!
Ava daughter got it as a gift. Won't play a CD and microphone sound is awful. Picture a screaming kid, no 6 C batteries, scavenging a 9v adapter from the computer speakers, the thing not playing her CD, not playing any CD, her hooking in the mic and a sound coming out that is similar to Scuttle's singing in the little mermaid. i.e. FAIL
Duran2fan The first problem with this product, is that it doesn't come with a power cord. You have to buy that separately for about $15. Next, the sound quality is terrible, but that is if you can actually get it to play. The buttons don't always work, and if you accidentally pull on the microphone cord, the CD stops. I can't believe that Toys R Us is actually selling this terrible product on it's website. They shouldn't associate their good name with this product. This is by far the worst toy, I have ever purchased.
VeryCheapMommy I bought this for my girls for Christmas because it was cute. It would not even play a CD the first time we turned it on! When we finally got it to play it skipped the whole time! I bought the buyer protection plan but when I went online to file a claim...I was told I would have to contact the manufacturer because it was still under warranty. You would think they could just send me a gift card so I could buy a decent CD player. So now I guess I will send it to the manufacturer and hope they will make it right? Who knows...such a disappointment!
Mom of 4 yr old We received this item as a gift and my 4 year old loves it. I do as well. My daughter had another 4 year old friend over and they had a blast. I cannot say if this item is durable we have had it less than a week but so far we have had no problems and think its a great item and are giving it to a friend as a gift this weekend. I will be buying the AV adapter as I hear it drains batteries.
