skeptical mom We bought for our son when he was three years old in Washington state. I was very skeptical after reading the reviews. Got the extended 15 month warranty when we purchased it. We have zero problems with this toy. My son rides this most days for 1 to 2 hours 3 to 5 times a week since we got it. We put Duracell batteries in it when we bought it and just had to change the batteries for the first time last month. He is very hard on this toy. I always worry the connection cord is going to go out from all of the stepping on it but nothing so far. As he has grown he appreciates different things about the games so they have grown with him. We were also worried he was going to grow out of it in short amount of time. Not a problem. My son turned 5 in march and is 4 feet tall and is still comfortable on this. This is one of the best active toys we have bought for my son. Especially in the winter months when he can't get outside as much. Highly recommend. Only giving it 4 stars because the games are a little pricey. But I have found them cheaper online.

mom-doesn't like kids playing video game I bought this for my 4 year old birthday. I don't like when kids play too much video games but thought he would like the bike action when we are stuck inside. He likes it and knows now how to work it. I bought good batteries and don't seem to have a problem with them.

tjtheteacher The idea behind this product is great, and when it works it's a lot of fun for my pre-schooler. However, the batteries get used up quickly, and there are some glitches that require re-starts. I don't understand why they still haven't improved this toy to allow you to plug it into an outlet. I wonder if it freezes sometimes because it's low on batteries.

momof3 Used it for 2 of my 3 kids and it worked just fine for them. The batteries did run out quickly if cheap or generic ones were used. Wish it did have an option for a plug, but that is the only con I have.

CwgrlMommi Both my boys enjoyed this educational toy, one started at 3, one at 4. We wanted it for the winters when it was tough to get exercise outside and be a learning tool as well. They really enjoyed it.. we got the original model two years ago and it didn't make it the full two years. I will buy the warrantee coverage on the next one.. we still have all the cartidges/keys for it and they were very sad when it stopped working.. For about the last year, I'd have to blow into the cartridges before inserting them to get it to power up properly.. but they would still work. In the end, it just wouldn't power up at all, even with new batteries, and then on occasion it would start up and then turn itself off after 30 seconds. Hoping the newer model is more durable.

Laila's Mommy Well it is an intreasting game I like it because it not only a learning game but it is also promoting excersise for our kids, due to it being a game. I bought it for my 3 year old n she absolutly loves it, I also bought her the Diego game and love it as well due to Diego says the numbers in english and dora repeats it in spanish which is awsome to me.The only thing about this product is that for some reason it goes blank at times and we have to turn it off n on again, but I will be exchanging it for another one for maybe this one was defective, I will let ya'll know later when I exchange it.Oh by the way if you can add the insurance on either the bike or game itself do it its worth it.

Philips Mom After I read several reviews on this product, that said don't buy it, against my better judgement I purchased it anyway..... Big mistake. My three year old loved it, and I loved the concept, however there are a few HUGE flaws with this machine.

1. The game cartridges are super sensitive. If you bump them slightly, the game shuts off, and the cartridge slot is right in the middle of the bike, making it impossible for an active three year old playing the game not to bump it several times. This led to my frustration having to restart the game several times, and my child's frustration having to start his game over.

2. The graphics on this thing are terrible! My three year old didn't care, but for the price of this thing, I expected a little more than graphics that look like they are from the original nintendo NES system.

3. It eats batteries!

Bottom line, don't waste your money on this product, it is not worth it. I'm disappointed in Fisher Price with the quality of the item. The concept is great, but needs to be developed a bit better.

madmom We had the orginal smart cycle it's the same thing it just looks like a bike. One day it just stopped working and we hadnt even used it that much. It would'nt turn on anymore. Then we got the new version and have had problems with this one to. It will turn off in the middle of a game. Sometimes the screen will freeze or get distorted and you have to turn it off and start all over again. I'm going to take mine back.

big papa one of the best interactive learning toys on the market for the price.

The kids love it I bought one a few years ago for my grandson now 6 and he still enjoys it. just bought a new one for my 3 year old grandson and he also loves it as well as his 7 year old brother. Also helps to keep them fit from all the pedaling.

GREAT TOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
