grandma sharon After my husband assembled this item, we had fun playing with it ourselves. There were so many different activities to experience. It should hold baby's iterest for a long time. The company would sell more of these if they advertized it more. Can depend on Toys R Us for fun toys.

single mommy This is by far one of the best toys I have purchased for my daughter. She absolutely loves it. I was a bit skeptical because my daughter gets bored so easily with almost any toy, but not this one.I got it for her when she was only 8 months old and now she is 16 months and stills pays with it everyday. Of course when she was little she used it more to help her walk, opened the door and chewed on the toys. Now she loves to put the shapes in the door, turn the light on and off. It is a great toy that grows with your child, and well worth the money.

grandma J I gave this to my grandaughter for her 1st birthday. She is my 4th grandchild, and this by far is the best I ever given. Before I gave toys that had awards, this time I went by parent recomendations. I put together the gift the night before,(use a phillips screwdriver with plenty of torque) and sure enough every child who was at the party ages 9 months to age 14 were interested in the gift. My 10 yr. old grandson tried to crawl thru it. See the picture of my 6 yr. old granddaughter crawling thru it. The birthday girl played with the door and other floor level items.

Best of all the father of the child, my tough, rare comunicator police officer son called a week later to tell me his daughter loves it! If you are thinking of buying this, do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed!

Lisa My daughter got this for Christmas when she was 10 months old. She'll be two and a half next month. She has played with it every day! We had it on the musical settings at first then switched to the learning sounds when she was older. It's been very durable with her climbing in/on/around it, and in our house with two dogs it stays very clean. We've lost a few of the accessory pieces, but she was never really into those as much as she was the open/close, up/down, clock, etc activities built into the toy. It was very easy to put together, too, and when you want it out of the way it can be nicely pushed against a wall and takes up little space. Certainly THE best big toy purchase we've ever made.

proud momma This is probably the best toy we have purchased, we got it for our son at 6 months, he is now a year and there is not a day that goes by that he doesn't play with it, unless we are not home. It is very educational and has many different things on it to play with. It will NOT get boring for him. We love it.

Mom of 2 girls We got this for my 9 month old for Christmas and she loves it. Her 3 year old sister loves it too. It is great for playing peek-a-boo. My 9 month old can spend lots of time looking for things in the mailbox. I can only imagine that she'll use it a lot more once she is cruising and walking. It is a big toy, so you do need a place to store it. The only negative thing is that ours came with the wrong purple piece (the part for the balls). We got 2 of the same piece so it doesn't fit on the home and we can't play with the ball feature. I really don't want to disassemble it and exchange it, so I guess we'll just make do. Other than that I love this toy!

Mom of a 3 and 2 year old. I got this for my daughter's 1st christmas. She was about 10 months old. She has loved this toy since it came out of the box. Then my son was born a few weeks later and they've played with this toy EVERYDAY since. Forget about the accessories, which are great, but eventually get lost around the house. The main attraction is the house itself. The door, the mailbox, the "radio", ect. We got this house in 2007 and still have it to this day, 3 years later. It's been through tough times. Being dragged thru the house, picked up, dropped, ect and still works like new. LOVE IT!!! I don't know anything about this house that is bad...of all the toys my kids have, this was worth every penny! I got it on sale for [$] back in 07. But if i had to now pay the full price, which i see is nearly $40 more, i would!

JCRmommy A pain to put together - takes awhile b/c there's 32+ screws & they're difficult to screw in. The house is wobbly so when my son stands up or holds on to it to stand up, it moves back & forth. Not sturdy! The numbers & the spinning thing on top don't spin very well. My son is almost 11 months old & I knew he would enjoy this toy. His favorite parts on it are opening & closing the door, spinning the flower, opening the window, playing with the balls, and the light switch. It's a cute, fun toy but after reading excellent reviews I was disappointed when it took forever to put together & wasn't sturdy. That made me mad. We have other fisher price toys & this is not one of their best.

Mimmie We purchased this for our grandson a 5 years ago and he played with it for hours. Then his little sister got just as much fun from it.

They gave it back to us for another grandson who is getting hours of fun out of it. We had no idea it would be such a great hit.
