jessica My 2.5 year old daughter loves taking care of her puppies!
j's mom This is my daughters favorite game by far. When asked what she thought of it she said it was great. I have watched her play and played with it myself and I have to admit it is really cute. However, it should be noted that this games pretty much lacks any educational value, it is a "just for the fun of it" kind of game. It is VERY cute and I have been stuck "pretending" to play pet pals ever since she got it.
1969Mom We purchased this game for our 5yo son when we bought him the Explorer because he loves animals. He is absolutely obsessed with the game. He has had no problem figuring out how to play it, and loves to show it to his big brother and talk about it. It is easy enough to make him feel successful, but not so hard that he gets frustrated and quits.

mopeza I have two toddlers youngest is 2 the oldest is 4. These are the best games for travel. My 4 year old has advanced her writing skill 3 stars. She traces every letter she sees its great. My two year old loves the pet game, she's figuring out the tracing gradually.
mom of one My 3 1/2 year old just got the explorer and likes this game the most, because it is fun and easy. But it barely has any educational value. After reading the educational value on the packaging I was sorely disappointed when I turned on the game. I wish I would have purchased something else.
Mom of 2 This game is great for my 4 year old daughter. It focuses on feelings, some math, and caring for a pet. It's currently her favorite Leappad game.
Snoopy-K If your kids like the original Pet Pals game, they will love this one too! My 5-yr old loves this game, which was a bit challenging over 1 year ago. I love that the game gets more challenging as she masters certain tasks. Also, the voice prompts are excellent if a little more direction is needed - great job!
Cincy DD loved the first pet pals and has continued to love Pet Pals 2 on her Leap pad. This game does differ from the 1st one - there are more dogs to choose from, the music is different and the games adjust to the level more. Money well spent.
Sha My 5 year old daughter loves this game. She needs very little help with it and she gets so excited when she earns a new puppy.
